I’m a proud First Nations Business Owner. *
I started my first business in Kelowna BC. At that time I was the Chairperson for a little tournament called the Mini World Cup. I was getting tired of always getting the same old medals for the kids so I thought I would start my own trophy business. I did my homework and found that I would need about $40,000 dollars of equipment and inventory. When the tournament rolled around I was looking into the States for cool trophies. I found the perfect ones, and I was off to a great start with my business. At the end of me working with Rutland Youth Soccer , Mini World Cup my final trophy was to hand out small replicas of the WORLD CUP.
As my company grew so did my project I was now doing jobs for almost all the sport in Kelowna, IE. - Soccer, Baseball, Hockey and Softball. I also had 1 customer who made his own pens. This was a cool job because I never knew what he was going to bring me, Moose antler, deer antler. I think the coolest was some kind of whale bone, my house stunk for weeks but it was awesome to see his smile on the finished project.
In 2018 I moved back home to ( AQAM ) Cranbrook BC. to be with my sister. She had some major health issues at the time. I was missing doing my business so I looked around Cranbrook to see how much competition there would be.
Only 1 and now he has sold his business. there is a few that do vinyl using a cricut machine so not really a competitors.
I have and will be partnering up with my cousin for projects in the future. Cody J is a graphic designer and an awesome one at that. He can design what picture is in my head, this is why we team up together.
I guess that is my business journey so far. I hope I can help you with your project in the future. Thank You for taking your time and reading my Business Bio.
